Best thing to do is call a Garage door company and get a free estimate. Check out this site and see if there is any of these dealers in your area CHI is a good product. www.chiohd.com

Both Miami and Ft. Lauderdale are expensive. About 6 years ago it was affordable now it is not. The price of houses, taxes, and insurance are sky high. Plus the threat of hurricanes every year try going without power for 2 weeks in the middle of summer. Granted we do not get hit by these storms evey year but it only takes one and you never want to go through it again. Plus it is so populated lots of traffic. If you are willing to put up with this it is a great place to live beaches are close and always a breeze. If not I would look in the central florida area and not Orlando, try Gainesville, Ocala (northern part).
