What is the United States spending $5000.00 a second on?

Pretty sad to know we are mortgaging our children's futures.

Can anybody tell me exactly 'why' we are in Iraq?

    what tripe.

Iraq runs what, 80 billion a year? In a 4 trillion dollar budget that is a pretty small expense.

To put it in perspective, the United States spends about as much of their income on Iraq as the average person spends on entertainment like movies and plays.

We are not mortgaging our children's futures.

The asset/debt ratio of the United States is better than Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway corporation so if debt in the United States is bad than Warren Buffet is a real moron.

The United States provides more dividend per dollar spent in taxes than any other nation, and that is with all the stupid spending included.

If you don't like paying taxes, investing in the United States and receiving dividends like paved roads, police, fire departments and hospitals you should move to Haiti or El Salvador and enjoy all the dividends that the wonderful infrastructure that those high tax nations provide.

A stable unified ally in the middle east.

And to the guy who said Saddam threatened Bush's daddy, I think that reason alone is reason to take the guy out. He staged an assassination on a President of the U.S.. I don't care if it's Carter, Clinton, Ford, or Bush that is cause to declare war in itself.

Iraq is a strategic move not a war. If there weren't so many checker players they would understand it's a chess match. But leave it to the dems to not understand unless MSNBC tells them what to think.

Because the US always dug it self out of a financial crisis by going to war.

That is why you all live in a totalitarian tripartite dictatorship, viz Press, Elected and Financial.

''Let me control the issue of a nations currency I do not care who writes it's laws''2

You all are enslaved from cradle to grave, once enslaved, you can say or write what ever you want as long as you do not challenge your slave masters.
