How are redheads different?
A friends doctor recently told her that redheads had a different chemical makeup than the rest of us dull colored haired folks, and that it made them (the redheads) more energetic, more talkative, and harder to deal with. I haven't been able to find out any more info n the web, but am very interested-being as I have a redheaded daughter. Anyone have any other info about this?
I did just find one thing on the web that reported that redheads feel pain more than others.
Also, I heard from more than one person of this theroy that redheads have a different chemical than the rest of us, OR that their brains just work differently.

Genetics don't really make up personality, so I would have to say that that is BS also.
Also, the pain thing is backwards. Redheads have a higher pain tolerance, which means we actually feel pain a lot less than people of other hair colours. We are more sensitive to heat pain though, so you may find your daughter can't drink very warm drinks until they cool or that ice cream may bother her straight from the freezer.
Also of note, redheads need more anesthetic than the rest of the population, but that should be taken care of at the hospital if she ever needs it.
There's a fun book on you can order online for like $10 called 'The Redhead Handbook', it answers a lot of basic redhead stuff, I think it's pretty fun for someone interested in everything red.

That's BS.
The only "chemical" difference is the hair pigment and the DNA behind it.
