I am a registered Republican women voter that will be voting for Obama.?
Do you find some voters condescending?
I will not hide nor do I care if you are voting for McCain and a VP choice that is not ready to lead even though her ego says she's ready.
Obama is a Christian, a leader, a man of vision and hope.
McCain is a man who has been in Washington for years and now he says he's the man to fight the old boys club and bring change?
I would be proud to have Obama for president and I am not afraid to stand up and declare it.
Who are you willing to stand up for?
Note: this was deleted once already. Does that mean truth can not be spoken here?

Yes, you are always supposed to vote for the guy on the ballot that you want to see win! The only way that your party affiliation matters is that, in the primaries, you are only able to vote amongst those candidates running for your party. That's the only time that you are restricted in who you can vote for. But the primaries are all over with and now the candidates have been nominated so that there's only the two to choose between. Pull the lever (or tap the touch sensitive screen) for whomever represents you best! and ignore the loon who thinks dems wouldn't be subject to the checks and balances of a 3 branch government when it's been the repub executive that's done their best to shred this system set up by the constitution. also ignore anyone who is telling you how to vote or any crap about candidates, they think that you are impressionable and that swing voters can be won on Yahoo Questions. It's your right and your decision no matter who you are for. As a matter of fact, feel free to ignore most of the crap posted as responses here.

I'm an Independent and I too will be voting for Obama because I have friends in the Marines and I want to get them home once and for all and lets start spending that Iraqi money here in the USA. The only WMD we have to worry about was not Weapons of Mass Destruction from Iraq, but Words of Mass Deception from GW Bush and his clone John McCain.

Honey, that's my pick also. I did a survey yesterday and it came up Obama. I was leaning that way anyhow. I do like the way this man speaks. And do we really need another wrinkled old man in office. I just don't care for McCain for some reason. I was on the fence, but now I'm not. I am also republican, but will vote dem this year. ♥

Why was it deleted? That would be fascism.
Also--your choice is the only choice here in this election.
Mr. Obama may not be perfect, but he never said he was. Only interested in change. He taught constitutional law for 12 years.
He obviously knows quite a bit about what works and what doesn't, I suggest.
Mr. McCain's party of neocon or gangster corporatists have now proven WHY we need that change.
And a man who has supported failed economic voodoo infallible-leader over wage-slaves economics for 30 years can't be the agent of change at all, now can he?
So he and his attack dog will have to practice their concession speeches soon--as soon as Karl Rove and George Bush have had someone write them for the two.

What I find interesting is how nasty the Republicans/McCain supporters are.
The McCain camp sure lies a lot. It's sad so many people believe the lies.
I pray that Obama wins. We need a compassiate man in the office that care about the people instead of his big business buddies.

Spoken like a TRUE maverick! It's good to see that there is someone who can shrug off all the nonsense that goes along with the blatant pandering that Palin's nomination entails. Rush Limbaugh declares his eternal enmity toward you.

ok
1. how can you say obama is a Christian when he is for gay rights and abortion at any stage of pregnancy or even after birth?
2. if you say Palin has no experience , then how can you say obama does? he has only been a senator for a year and a half and had no leader position at all. besides palin is not going to be the president she is the VICE PRESIDENT .
if you are going to hold one person up to the light you should hold everyone up to the same light. that is called fare.

Congratualtions. You have now entered reality and the party of rational thought.
And for those of you who continue to say that Obama isn't Christian...when every major news outlet has stated over and over and over that Obama is Christian, he has attended church, he discusses passages of the bible, etc etc etc....I'd say that the burden of proof falls on YOU. he doesn't have to prove what his religion is anymore than McCain does..."good ol' boy" Johnny isn't exactly a christian saint either you know.

Good for you! I'm so proud to hear something like this! I really hope that there are more republicans who are still able to look at what things are being said by the McPalin ticket and see them for the lies that they are. You give me hope, and I hope that you are able to bring more republican voters with you!
OBAMA 08!!!

Good for you, I wish more Republicans would see Obama's vision of hope!
Oh and, you probably didn't ask a question before, although I don't know, because I didn't read it.
Obama 08!
