What is an aneutro test?
I can't find any info on it. I need to know why it's done, what the normal values are, possible causes of abnormal values.
I couldnt find it on yahoo either. This lab value was on a patient chart though. Maybe its an abbreviation for something else??
It was by values like lymph and platelets

probably an absolute neutrophil count, or ANC, it's used to see if the immune system will respond properly to infection, especially in people who might be immune compromised, like those in chemotherapy.
Normal ANC is >500-1000
