5 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling8 years agoHow do I know when to pull weak lettuce plants?
I am growing lettuce in an indoor garden but so far all the plants seem week and many are lying in the soil (same for some of my tomato plants). Is there any chance they will strengthen and rise up, or should they be pulled? I have never grown plants before so I'm not sure. Thanks!
1 AnswerOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoFinger feels tight while healing from a cut....normal?
I cut my finger on a Christmas outdoor light bulb on Thanksgiving. The cut is from the tip of my finger down the the first bend of the finger (not the middle, the part before). It was bleeding a lot and was throbbing after. It wasnt too deep but its not exactly paper cut thin either. I can still see a indent in the skin as if it didnt tightly close. Anyway, my finger feels like it always has a bandaid on it ( which I dont anymore). Its kind of a tight feeling when i touch it or bend it. Is this normal since its a large cut and its healing?
3 AnswersInjuries1 decade agoAre there any jobs with babies in a hospital that doesn't require state licensing?
I have always dreamed of working as a postpartum (mom/baby after delivery) nurse. Unfortunately that dream isn't working out. I still want to work in a hospital, and would love to work with babies. Is there any job out there where I'd be working in a hospital working with babies but it doesn't require state licensing? Thanks!

13 AnswersCell Phones & Plans1 decade agoAny ideas what I have? Breathing changes, cough, chills?
Hi-
I have no idea what sickness I have and its really weird. Yesterday it started where my breathing was different. Once in awhile, but rarely my throat would sound gurgly. I have a stethoscope and listened to my lungs but I dont hear any fluid in them. At night then I got SUPER cold and couldnt warm up at all. Eventually I went between hot and cold. Also, when I got up after a nap by body felt extremely heavy as I walked. In the morning I was hot and cold for about an hour at work. I also felt exhausted. On break I took a nap and after that I felt totally fine....until night. At about the same time as the night before I had extreme chills. Once I warmed up, I feel fine. Oh and I have a dry cough which doesnt happen tooooo often, but when it does it hurts my head. Any ideas what I might have?
2 AnswersOther - Health1 decade agoAny dentists or Oral Surgeons on here? I have a question?
I had my wisdom teeth pulled about 10 months ago and I still have numbness on half my tongue and half my gums. My dentist met with me today and referred me to an oral surgeon. Apparently I have to pay all the bills for anything that is done. I dont feel thats right. Why should I pay--I didnt cause the damage. My dentist said it happens all the time and is just a risk of tooth pulling. Is this right? Is there any way of getting around me having to pay for this?? I dont have dental insurance anymore and Im only 25. I dont want to deal with numbess for the rest of my life yet I cant afford to pay. The dentist said oral surgery is VERY expensive.

3 AnswersPain & Pain Management1 decade agoIs the Littmann Cardiology 3 or Master Cardiology stethoscope ok to use on babies?
I'm currently a nursing student and want to purchase a new stethoscope. I was looking at getting the Master Cardiology or the Cardiology 3. This is perfect for clinicals. When I graduate though I would like to work in postpartum where I would be listening to mom and babies lungs and heart. Would I have to buy a special stethoscope later on for the babies or is this one ok? I just don't want to spend a lot if I will have to get a new one later on.
