Is the Littmann Cardiology 3 or Master Cardiology stethoscope ok to use on babies?
I'm currently a nursing student and want to purchase a new stethoscope. I was looking at getting the Master Cardiology or the Cardiology 3. This is perfect for clinicals. When I graduate though I would like to work in postpartum where I would be listening to mom and babies lungs and heart. Would I have to buy a special stethoscope later on for the babies or is this one ok? I just don't want to spend a lot if I will have to get a new one later on.
FYI..I am speaking of already delivered babies

Whichever has the neonate bell. If you're a nursing major, just get the standard littman; don't waste your money on something that will likely be stolen.
BTW I'm a recent grad, working in a busy ER. GOOOD LUUUUCK!!!!! And study hard for boards!!!

are we talking when babies are still in the womb??? If so, then I dont really know. If were talking about babies after birth then yeah you should be fine. I've had a Cardio 3 for quite some time now and love it. I've used in on adults, teens, and babies. Works great
