Is this true?????? Intimate question, please don't be offended?

I was looking up some stuff on the internet in relation to resuming sex after giving birth and came across this from net doctor

http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/sex_relationships/facts...

I'm in particular concerned and intrigued by the section on oral sex. Is this true?? Can a woman really die from this?

Update:

Oh dear - was sort of relying on this to get me through the first 6 weeks! Back to the drawing board!

I've honestly never heard of this before though......

Yes, I've heard of that before. I wouldn't imagine a man making a practice of blowing though!? lol But apparently some do...

On that they say 6 months till normal sex....that's a bit exagerated.

I was gently having sex again within the first 4-8 weeks. Full on back to normal at about 3 months post baby. With having episiotomes both times....no way would I have lasted 6 months without lol. Nor would my husband for that matter. So I don't know how true that part is...

I had never heard of that before! Very interesting...

I'm sure they wouldn't put it there if there wasn't a slight chance of it happening.... So I guess a woman can die from this! Best to avoid for the first few months!!

Yes, this is true. An air embolism can happen to the woman any time air is blown into her vajj, and is particularly dangerous just after birth.

Yes that is very true, just wait the six weeks and ask your doctor if you can resume after your exam.

yes it is true, while a man is giving you oral sex he can accidentally blow air into your uterus which can cause you to die, it can also give you a really bad infection which could cause death

  • Yeah it happens. But hey pretty simple to avoid right?
