Yellow flag Irises. Do you trim leaves like other bearded Irises? ?

Right now, they are still green, but look a bit messy. I trimmed the flower head a long ago, so there are only leaves and brown stems left. Do you trim leaves also? Or you just leave them?

The irises certainly desire to be broken up and transplanted. It makes them bloom lots greater luxuriantly in the subsequent starting to be 12 months. i've got faith the suited time to propogate irises is the autumn, yet some persons desire to do it in the spring/summer season, so it relatively is as much as you. The poppies are in user-friendly terms somewhat trickier. in many situations they self-seed and so the size of your poppy patch will in basic terms enhance over the years. Poppies do not love being transplanted. they're going to tolerate it, yet they don't like it, so dig deep and attempt to not disturb their roots in case you will transplant them. they're sunloving, and require a protracted, chilly, stressful freeze in the iciness to truly do nicely, as do maximum flora with pink (yang) plant existence. attempt a nursery (you do not say the place you're in the U. S., or in case you even are in the U. S..) White Flower Farm is a particular popular of mine.
