There should be a big X on that page in history.

Epic failure on everything... leaving Afghanistan without Bin Laden, going to Iraq for their slam dunk victory, as Darth Cheney called it, causing trillions of dollars to be hemorrhaged from our economy, leaving us weak and depleted, and unable to sustain the blows from gas prices, & collapsing housing market.

His biggest failure is his stubborn belief that things should always go his way, no matter what, and when they don't, not having the flexibility and strength to learn from it.

Bush will go down in history as the worst President ever (Carter is right). I think the troubles in Iraq will be continuing for decades no matter what we do, so that will be in everyones minds. The economy needs some major adjustment, but I think most people will come out of it OK. Basically, Bush is a BiG Failure!

History will view Bush's greatest failure as the economy. He took over as president with the government actually paying down the national debt and has now run up the debt of this country and continues to think that by throwing more money at the problems they will go away instead of using sound economic principles to stimulate the economy.Iraq must also be viewed as a failure since it all started as a war on terrorism that got extremely off track.Roughly 4,000 americans have now lost their lives leaving behind parents, spouses, and children who must now carry on with only the memories of their loved ones who lost their lives halfway around the world.

You know when it is all said and done I think his biggest failure will be just running and becoming president, and I think he will come to relize it. He just was not up to the job. In another time he may have done just fine, get good people around him, run the stongest country in the world, and bask in being an ex-president the rest of your life. He became president where events called for a great leader with vision, self confidence and great wisdom. He had none of those, he tried to act the part but I believe he put his faith in Cheney and Rumsfield and they just let him and the country down.

I am voting for Obama, but in times like these I would perfer if a guy has state senator on his resume that it be 20 years ago not four, I hope he turns out to be a great leader but I am not all that confidant.

First comes Iraq, then came the economy. I believe the chicken came before the egg.

Well, it would be him keeping relatively quiet while Obama comes to power. Iraq is working and the economy isnt his fault (all bills about money start in the house of representatives, the economy is the fault of the (democrat) congress)

in my opinion, if we didnt go to Iraq, the economy problem would be bigger because most of our financial buildings could have been bombed like at 9/11

Iraq. No one has lost their life due to the economy. Not yet, at least.

Well, hopefully we can just erase him from the history book if we make it through so America doesn't look horrible 100 years from now hahahaha

Then I wont have to tell my grand children the saddest story ever told.

I think the real failure is on Barbara Bush.

She really should have been pro choice.
