Should I report my Car as being stolen?

I parked my car at the over night parking at the airport. After three days, I fly back in. I could not find my car. It's GONE, Honestly.

Here's the kicker, My car is in repossesion status and the company hasn't got my car either. I'm scared to report my car as stolen because they would think I did something to it. I didn't. Should I report it as stolen? What will the insurance company do?

Call up your insurance agent and explain exactly what happened. It's not uncommon for vehicles to be stolen from an airport. Also, report it to your finance company. File a police report and give a copy to the insurance agency and the finance company.

Although you car is in repossession status you shouldn't be penalized for something that is not your fault

I actually had a client that this happened too. She was looking at the wrong place for the car on the lot. Im sure this isnt your case though.

You need to report the car stolen, and have your insurance company pay the loss for it if it isnt recovered.

If your finance company hasnt repossessed the car yet, then you are still legally responsible for it.

You have to report it. You can't just do nothing. Right now you don't have a car, the finance company don't have any payments coming in so you are right in the middle of a big. mess.

Well, if your lying and you report it stolen and they find out you would be in HUGE trouble. But If it really got stolen then you should report it. They probably repossessed it while it was sitting in the parking lot anyway (they are tricky like that).
