I've completed 13.5 years in the AF Reserves and I went In-active reserve status in 2008. I'm currently overseas working as a contractor mentoring the Afghan National Police and I've been doing this for approximately 2 years. I'm looking for a good Guard/Reserve job to do to complete my 20 years with the military, whenever I finish my contract. I'm in good health and would really like to get into investigations, whether OSI, NCIS or CID. I turn 37 later this year and realize this could count against me.

Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on these type of careers?

Here is the article that I read today. A business owner was denied a liquor license and in protest/distress he flew the US flag upside down just before July 4th. The town's attorney told the Police to take it down to keep the peace in the town and they later returned it. Is flying the US flag upside down a first Amendment right or does it have the potential to cause a serious disturbance? What do you think?

It's tragic that so many people had to die from the aging Metro System in D.C. I'm just curious, How much of the Stimulus money was designated for the Metro? I imagine there will be more money poured into this system now that lives have been lost, what do yo think?

The guy is talented but he will not shut his mouth. Is he trying to draw attention or what? I can imagine that Jerry Jones does not approve with his conduct.

He FAILED Miserably in New Orleans. He had the opportunity to evacuate the people and did not do so. Then he blamed George Bush-LOL for the whole thing. Typical Democrat, No accountability and palcing the blame on other people.

FEMA did fail New Orleans, But not nearly as much as Mayor Nagin did.

I parked my car at the over night parking at the airport. After three days, I fly back in. I could not find my car. It's GONE, Honestly.

Here's the kicker, My car is in repossesion status and the company hasn't got my car either. I'm scared to report my car as stolen because they would think I did something to it. I didn't. Should I report it as stolen? What will the insurance company do?

This has been an issue in South Carolina for many years. The flag is posted on the state grounds along with many other historic statues and monuments. I just wanted to know what your opinion was concerning the confederate battle flag?

I have a considerable amount of unsecured debt. I have several charge offs on my credit but I'm still sending those companies payment. Everything is being paid monthly though its not reported. Those companies will not report this on my credit and I understand that. Is there any REAL lenders out there that will give me a consolidation loan?

In South Carolina, My Mom had a Lien against her property by a (fly by night) home improvement company. However, She filed for bankruptcy protection and kept her home in 1992. This home improvement company was covered under the bankruptcy which we have an official copy of. Now she is stuck with a lien against her property from this company and can't get a loan. After consulting three different lawyers, none of them can give me an answer on my question. I did find out that the lien will have automatically expire after 20 years.

How can we have this Lien removed from my mom's property?

I was hired as a contractor to work in Afghanistan by a company based in UAE. The company has offices in Texas and Virginia as well. I quit two jobs to take this job overseas. The company failed to submit my job eligibilty form to the state department and get approved to work in Afghanistan. I worked for 5 months, when the company terminated my contract. Now I'm left without any job at all. Where do I begin looking for a lawyer to take this case?
