Is my flu shot still good or do I need to get a different one?

I currently reside in Australia and I had my flu shot in March (Autumn) of this year. I plan to travel to the US in November (Autumn in the US). Is my flu shot still good for this travel, or has the vaccine changed

because of the difference in the time of year, or a difference in the type of flu expected.

My family doctor recommends the flu shot once a year.

I HAVE NOT SEEN ANYTHING SHOWING THAT THE FLU SHOT FOR THIS SEASON IS OUT YET. IT IS VERY CLOSE TIMING.

THE BEST THING TO DO IS CALL YOU DOCTOR OR CLINIC AND ASK EVEN THOUGH THIS ISN'T WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR.
