Yes, especially this year. Typically a young team in the playoffs would have issues against a seasoned team with deep playoff experience. But most of those teams, look vulnerable so far this season. (i.e Pats lost Brady, Chargers are 1-2, the Jaguars are 1-2, the Colts are 1-2), The AFC conference is open and up for grabs.

The Bills have as good a chance, if not better, then any other team in making it. Their first two wins where against teams that both made it the 2nd round of the playoffs last year, last week they showed the ability to hit another gear, and race for a late comback win. The Bills are playing very well, and have been impressing me for over 2 weeks.

AFC East is not a threat without Brady and Favre in that new offense, plus the Bills' schedule's looking good right now, so I think they'll easily make it to the playoffs in my opinion. I think it's too early to tell whether they can make it to Super Bowl though. Sure they won against Jacksonville, but winning against Seattle and Oakland hasn't convinced me that they have what it takes to get to the Super Bowl.

No one can tell who is going to be playoff contenders until about week 9 in the NFL.
