Can (/how) you split a CD track into two tracks?

I've got a CD with two songs on one track. I don't love the first song and would like to skip it without doing the search thing. Is there a way to split it so I can just track skip past it?

    You CAN split it but not on the CD. You need to make a new CD with the modified track burnt on.
