Global Warming Question?

They will never recognize that Co2 is a harmless result of life and that we have in the last 10,000 years had much higher levels with no problems just as we have in the last 2,000 years had 3 periods with much higher temperatures. Humans have had absolutely nothing to with any warming period and there has been no warming for over 70 years now. Well up until 1934-40 it was real and it happened because of the end of a period of low sun spot activity and the beginning of a more active period of solar output. It has been well proven now through current and historical records that the overall temperature average or climate of the earth is closely tied to the sun spot activity that directly affects the earth’s climate. Real global warming is a natural cosmic event, the global warming currently in the public spotlight is a fictional event brought about for political and economic gains by an elite group of con men.

The whole concept that this global warming scam is built on comes from a mistake in logic by a chemist back in the late 1800s when things started warming up at the end of the 2nd half of the little ice age. His arguments were adopted by a group of anti-industrial/anti-technology religious fanatics known as Luddites after their prophet to try and return society to its grander days in the early medieval period when nobility meant something. Oh yes, just like today the major adherents of this cult were the 2nd and 3rd sons of the minor nobility and in some cases the 1st sons who had squandered their inheritances on life style instead of productivity.

The anti Co2 cult was enhanced again when the argument was taken up during the late 20s when warming became noticeable and a industrial chemical firm had come up with a fluorocarbon instead of an oxycarbon refrigerant they claimed was not only superior to Co2 as a refrigerant it also would end the threat of global warming caused by Co2. This refrigerant was known as Freon and was in recent years banned because it was suspected of damaging the ozone layer. Now because of the low performance of other substituted refrigerants Co2 is making a huge comeback in the refrigeration industry, especially in newer auto air-conditioning systems that are more compact and efficient.

In the 1970s the Co2 equals warming theory was once again brought forward by a couple of low end climate scientists Mann/Hansen to first warn of the immanent plunge into a new and disastrous ice age because of the production of Co2 by vehicles and industry. This even though it got major media news play flopped like a lead balloon. Then they got involved with a shyster politician that had major oil company connections dating back to his fathers involvement with them who said clearly people are not afraid of cold but they are of heat.

So this politician writes a disaster is coming because of the warming that will be caused by the huge amounts of Co2 the world is pumping into the air. Mann/Hansen then revised their materials to forecast ever rising temperatures in sync with rising Co2 levels. Well when they checked closely they found that world temperatures had no relationship with Co2 levels and instead followed sun spot activity so they had to alter world temperature records to reflect a temperature increase matching the Co2 increase. This worked fine up through 2000 because things were warming up after the 70s cool period at that time. Then after 2000 temps leveled off and started dropping a little and their altered temperature curve that matched the increasing Co2 curve began to radically separate from reality even more than it had from the beginning of the scam when they had interjected an artificial .5C jump that placed the current 1998 peak well above 1934 when it was actually about .1C below 1934. This radical difference between actual recorded temperatures and reported ones quoted by Mann/Hansen is what brought about NASA action to review national and international records. The US national records have been repaired and now reflect the fact that global warming is more than a myth, it is an outright con game played for profit at the highest political and economic levels

Your essentially right, part of the incoming energy is blocked by the greenhouse effect.

Space is very very cold and does not contain what you would consider "heat", but the sun emits more high energy short wave radiation towards the earth and the infrared portion of the incoming rediation is absorbed by greenhouse gasses, allowing the remaining 70% or so of the suns energy to reach the clouds and surface below. There is natural variation in the amount of incoming energy from the sun.

Once energy has passed through the greenhouse layer many factors come into play that absorb or reflect energy such as cloud cover, surface abosorbtionetc..

The remaining energy that is than reflected back to the clouds (which trap heat aswell, and are strong climate drivers) and the remainder of the longer wave energy in the infrared spectrum is then absorbed by the greenhouse effect . This absorbtion effect causes "emission" which is believed to form a localised warming effect which has not yet been observed in the troposphere (where it is predicted to occur by the IPCC) (Douglass et al., 2004, 2007; Lindzen, 2001, 2007; Spencer, 2007).

The greenhouse effect is still not fully understood, escpecially the radiative-convective relations that help stabilise the climate and prevent runaway warming, i.e increased co2 causes photon emission to occur over a shorter distance resulting in cooling above the troposphere. Also the other factors than control the amount of energy reaching the greenhouse effect on its way out are litle understood.

The green house layers self regulating ability to prevent runaway global warming is demonstrated by the Cambrian era when co2 was around 20 times higher than today (around 7600ppm) and global temperatures were estimated to be only 7 degrees warmer than today (IPCC, 2001).

Co2 does not act like a blanket, a greenhouse, or "reflect" heat, these are common misunderstandings about how the greenhouse effect works.

CO2 acts as sort of like a mirror. It reflects heat the Earth puts off back down to Earth's surface. It doesn't absorb any heat from the Earth it only reflects. It doesn't absorb any heat from the sun(outer space) either..the mirror effect only works one way. Sun light(heat) however can PASS THOUGH the CO2 layer surrounding the Earth. The problem is once it's passed though the CO2 it can't escape very easily. The heat keeps increasing but it can't escape because of the "greenhouse effect" CO2 has. The more CO2 in our atmosphere the stronger it is at trapping and reflecting the heat back down to Earth and the hotter it gets.

Sorry I'm not a rocket scientist so I have no idea WHY it works that way...I just know how it works. Hopefully someone else might. Hope this helps explain things for you.

Some knowledge about the physics of spectrophotometry can be helpful for understanding why CO2 molecule absorbs radiation deflected from earth but allows solar radiation to pass through the atmosphere.

First, you have to distinguish between heat and radiation. The heat you mention is actually a consequence of radiation that absorbed by the CO2 molecules in the atmosphere.

Because the wavelength of the radiation coming from the sun is different from the radiation deflected from earth it is absorbed easily by CO2. The Ozone layer (O3) of example absorbs radiation in the spectrum of UV, thus it is so important for us.

Heat from outer space (i.e., sunlight) is at a different frequency which is not absorbed by CO2.

The absorption of a gas depends on the wavelength of the light.

From my opinion, I don't know really about that but I love to talk about that and research.Maybe it is not absorbs heat from the earth and opposites.Just imagine if it happens human will become hot and more thing will broken our life.

Actually, the people above failed to really explain the 'why' in outerspace.

Anyone that has studied heat transfers know's that there's 3 methods; Irradiation, conduction and convection.

And air....as a medium in general is very inefficient because it doesn't retain the heat long. So since it is colder than hell....figuratively speaking in space, any supposed heat source would we dissipated quickly since there's no retention of heat in gas form for very long. Secondly, there wouldn't be any heat source in space since the suns energy would be in the form of rays, which travel through space, it doesn't cause irradiation heating.

The supposed "greenhouse" effect, is mostly a pre-existing condition of heat..compounded by the 'trapping' of heat. Which doesn't seem to actually be proven when it comes to the world as a whole...Only in a laboratory...or.... a greenhouse.

At one strange the environmentalists were predicting another ice age since heat could not enter earth's atmosphere because of smog.

They sited how bays north of Canada would not thaw as quickly and ice prevented fishing for weeks to months.

Now the cycle has changed, the prediction is a "greenhouse" effect keeping warmth in.

I have no problem encouraging people to be more environmentally friendly, but not supporting those who act "more green than thou"

CO2 does not absorb infra-red radiations(heat radiations), it reflects them.
