GE refrigerator is leaking water from inside.?
My refrigerator is leaking water inside. I've got an idea of where its coming from. If I don't keep something in there to catch the water it will be everywhere. Any idea how to fix it? Here is the model and serial number if needed: Serial- MR765399, Model- TBX15AYCRWH
I'm fed up with having a bowl in there to catch the water all the time. I don't have a ice maker and its a top freezer if that helps.
I also looked at the back of the refrigerator and there was no water in the "drip pan", and there is a small black tube looking on the top right of the fridge. I need help and a very inexpensive way to fix it, please.

Fridges go in defrosting mode from time to time.
The water produced by melting the ice suppose to drain in the drip pan underneath.
Sounds like the drain line is frozen and water can not drain, but leaks inside.
The easiest fix is to unplug it for a day, the frozen drain will unplug.
The fastest way is to removed the covers inside freezer part, defrost it with hair dryer, make sure not to melt any plastic.

If the floor was "soaked" I'd look at the water valve first. Turn it off and see if the problem goes away. It could be a coincidence. Just googled your model and there has been a complaint of the water dispenser turning itself on, hadn't seen that before, but check for a full drip tray under the water dispenser.

Faulty filter? I'd try replacing the filter.
