Can a opened bottle of Vodka go bad? Taste bad?

Had a drink at two different houses and thought I might have used a old lemon but wasn't sure if it was the lemon or the vodka? Strong taste. Had a different bottle with no lemon and that was fine.

Update:

Thank all you experts. I will have to continue my research with a little more ice. I never thought I would run into this problem. I never let mine get old.

If Sugar replaced into used interior the technique, sure the bottle can circulate undesirable, Rum, Kahlua, Bailey, Schnapps. Tequila and Gin for some reason is going undesirable too... as quickly as that is opened, yet no, Vodka, Whiskey, opened or unopened are good for existence ( moderately of direction). Grain/Starch based alcohol in basic terms gets extra valuable with age.

voka doesnt go bad. someone just bought bad vodka it sounds like. the more times it is distilled the cleaner the taste. it costs more to get the voka that tasts good but its worth it. also cheap vodka can give you bad hangovers. try gre goose, belvedere, kettle 1, chopin, three olives, absolut, level, pravda.... these vodkas taste good and if you dont overdrink you wont feel bad in the morning

No. Vodka has an indefinite shelf life as long as you keep it tightly capped between uses.
