what is the best computer to play world of warcraft?

World of Warcraft have some modest requirments, if its all you want to paly then you can get a pretty cheap PC for about $1000(make sure it has a graphics card, some PC's dont at that price) and saave the rest for subscription n getting the new expansions.

you coudl spend it all though and get a PC capable of running Crysis , But if you have no intention of running modern games with full graphics then it might be a waste of cash to get all the unnecessary horsepower.

Personally, as an avid WOW player, I find my Macbook Pro to be the best choice, as long as you don't mind spending a little money for a fantastic computer. For a cheaper route, the iMac works too. Just try to find anything with a decent video card and processor. I can run the game at full tilt with my Mabook Pro (which is over five years old) and still have no problems whatsoever. So it really depends on how much you want to spend and what else you'll be using the computer for. Ther's always PC's too, of course, but for my money I prefer the Mac's. I'm sure a newer Dell PC or laptop would be fine, and if you're a serious gamer check out AlienWare's products. They make computer specifically for gaming and/or video and audio work.

If you wanted to be fancy and have a real good computer then go with an alienware.

But you can also custom build your own, which is way cheaper, the only thing is you need to know what parts to buy and such.
