Car Won't Start...need help?

I went into the store and when I came out the car sounded like the battery was wearing down. I let it sit a few minutes and when I turned the key again there was no sound whatsoever. A few hours later it started. The next day it started right up. A few hours later I turned the key and no sound again. I had the battery tested and it was shot (it's less than 2 years old). I had a new one installed and even though the lights, radio etc worked, the car was dead and did not make a sound.

*Note: it's a 1993 Saab and hasn't had any major problems until now.

    Sounds like your alternator.

Pull the positive cable off the battery while the car is running if it dies then replace the alternator.

Other than that, check the starter relay.

Check the solenoid and cables from the battery / alternator to both ground and hot side of the starter.

3 things , they gave you a defective battery, or ur alternator is bad and its not recharging the battery, ir a bad starter, i would honestly think that its your alternator, you'll be out about $200 for a new one
