Our govt has failed us, we will still have to foot the bill, who gets stuck with the blame.?

John mc cain has not been involved with the negotiations, the nerve of him pointing fingers.

Update:

the house had the ball in there hands, and they are up for re-election, so how do we score this, they ultimately did not make a touch down.

Honestly..the other answer was correct..it was people getting houses they could not afford. It is being responsible for your own actions.

John McCain tried to fix this in 2005.

the Democrats had opportunity in 2003 and again in 2005 to vote for regulation to avoid this mess....but they (and to a small extent the republicans) were getting tons of campaign contributions from Fannie Mae.

Clinton started it..watch the you tube video.

Mccain or Oboma have no say so. You see the guy from the treasury dept.? The one that delivered the treat? He is part of the new world order. Don't tell anybody but they are following their leaders. Its all planned and going according to schedule. All you sheeple that don't believe the conspiracy's, how do you explain it? Look on You-tube (New World Order) and tell me its all just a coincidence.

The government is to blame. The whole government. The best thing this country could do right now is kick every member of Congress out on their as$es and start over.

This goes back YEARS ago when the Dems were bragging about how many people in the country were home owners.

This is bigger than the Dems want to make it out.

THEY ARE involved. Regardless as to how much of the blame Pelosi wants to lay on Bush.

There is plenty of blame to go around. Let's not focus on that. I think the gov't will come up with a bailout plan, even though this one failed. They will try again. We haven't heard the last of this.

Nobody held a gun to the greedy people who bought houses they could'nt afford. I know this may sound harsh to all you Democrats. THE GOVERNMENT is not hear to bail you out when you do something stupid. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for your actions. The government hasn't failed you, you have failed your self and your government!

I want the rich to suffer with us.

    You don't get it.

The House of Representatives get it because they want to keep their jobs.
