What would I wear to my wedding?
My fiance and I are getting hitched in Las Vegas. he wants to get married by elvis, So i was wondering, what would i wear? would i wear a real wedding gown, or a simple white dress?? we're getting a group of friends to go to vegas, and they dont know we're getting married... what would be the "right" way to do this??

I got married in Las Vegas with an Elvis impersonator present -- it was so fun!
I wore an off-white bridesmaid's dress (floor length). It was pretty, and perfectly fine for a daytime wedding.
If I were getting married at night, I would have got a white or silver sparkly cocktail dress -- it's Vegas, right?

I wouldn't have thought that getting married by Elvis in Las Vegas was something that had a great deal of etiquette attached.. so the "right" way of doing it is a non issue.
Wear what you like. I was there recently and there were a number of brides wandering around in full bridal regalia. Personally I would think that's a bit cumbersome when walking through crowded casinos.. not to mention a bit on the warm side when you get outside.
There are many beautiful dresses out there - both bridal and non bridal.
The important thing is to feel beautiful on your wedding day, as well as loving and loved. :-)

The "right" way would be how you want it to be. A cute, chic knee length dress would be wonderful for a Vegas Wedding. You can hit the town without a big gown afterward. However, if you want a traditional gown, go for that, too. Anything goes in Vegas - trust me, I've been there! Just be sure to have fun.

there is no right way, and you should dress to suit you but still have some class. you can wear jeans with a well cut top and pearls and look gorgeous or you can do the whole wedding gown thing if you want.
if you don't want to do the dress thing then you could do palazzo pants and a beautiful top. if you are a daring kinda gal then a really nice bustier/corset style would be gorgeous. if you aren't quite up for that there are some gorgeous cashmere tops, silk blouses, all types!
the palazzo pants are very comfie and dressy, they come in white as well as other colours.
whatever you wear, happy wedding sweetie! and have fun!

You could wear a traditional gown for the actual wedding and a cute sexy cocktail type of dress for after the ceremony. I think it's awsome that you're surprising all your friends, how exciting, I would not be able to keep the secret!

Congratulations! I am going to be a Vegas bride too and I loved these dresses once I saw them. I already bought another dress, but I am planning to go and try these on (and buy one if I like it in person!)

There is no "right." Do what you want to do. Wear what you want to wear. If you want to wear a white dress, go for it. If you want to wear something funky, do it. It's your day and you don't have to please anyone else.
