Yes, but be very careful and inspect it for pests. Plants that are kept outdoors can easily pick up aphids, mites etc. that once brought inside a nice warm house, go crazy and spread to all your other plants. You may also find it goes through a period of adjustment where it drops leaves and seems like it is dying because of a sudden change in light levels if it used to lots of sun. Wandering jew are good house plants though and it will eventually come around if it does go down hill a little.

Absolutely!! Wandering Jew can be used as a houseplant as well as an outdoor plant. Make sure you put it in a bright, indirect light and misting the leaves daily helps it stay moist. yeah they grow in shade. also they will "strike" (grow roots) very very easily from even a very small part of the plant.

i've been told they can give pets rashes.

but i gotta admit i don't like 'em. they are very, very invasive, & considered a terrible weed in N.S.W. australia.

they also hide (in sydney nsw aust) the world most venomous & aggressive spiders (the male anyway) atrax robustus -the sydney funnel web spider.

it's an environmental menace over here that chokes out the native plants.

i do a lot of bushcare & we are forever removing this terrible weed!!
