Should state residency requirements be scrapped,at least as far Federal Elections are concerned?

Update:

Then maybe we ought to at least think about scrapping the electoral college altogether, but not the states themselves. Also with computers,it doesn't have to be a nightmare to vote anymore, or U can just hire Count von Count to do the counting of the ballots.

hell why do you even need to be an american in order to vote in our election..do we not have enough voter fraud going on...perhaps someone should maintain control over the people where they are and what state they are voting in..cause you could vote in about ten twelve states the day of the election if you truly wanted too

Absolutely not! It is the states that elect the president, the requirement keeps residents from larger states from flocking to smaller states to force the election in their favor.

NO! We already have enough problems with Voter fraud, we do not need Osama over here stuffing Ballot Boxes with his choice to lead our Country for the next four years.

It's a tabulation nightmare in my opinion. I believe that it would take weeks to get the final counts.
