Is there a way to skip my period on Loestrin 24 Fe without it messing up the pills?

Question

I'm finishing up taking the third pack. Today is my last day of taking the last brown pill.  I calculated and I will end up taking the brown pills (placebo) of the next pack during my honeymoon which means I'll be having my period during my honeymoon. I heard you can skip the placebos if you don't want to get your period and just move to the active pills in the next pack.  Is this true? Is it safe and EFFECTIVE?

I did that to avoid being on my period on my wedding day back in April!  Same pill, no ill effects for me and I didn't get pregnant.  

I started my new pack at the beginning of the 4th week of pills (skip the whole last week, white and brown pills).  I didn't want to get off schedule from starting a new pack on Sunday.

It wouldn't hurt to call your doctor and ask the nurse if its ok with the pill you're on, but I did it and was able to have a great wedding/honeymoon!

.. I take those too.. and that i don't pass them. Idk the possibility factors nonetheless. I in common words took them cuz I wudn't end bleeding for 4 weeks and it replaced into too plenty blood for a basic era. XD
