    Saturday, Octobert 4th is the first official game of the season. The Rangers will be playing the Lightning in Prague, and the Penguins will be playing the Senators in Stockholm. These count as regular season games.

    The first official game of the season where the NHL teams will be playing in their own arenas starts on Thursday October 9th with the Leafs playing the Red Wings.
