Why are people so dumb to think that pulling the troops out before the job is done, is a good thing?
No WMD? Ask the Kurds if that was true when Saddam bombed the whole village of innocent people.
We are winning the war, notice how quiet the Networks have been about the war lately?
Common sense, if you should have some, should tell you that if we pull out of there too early the terrorists and insurgents will take over that country. We need to keep ther peace there until it is done and the Iraqi govt is able to take over 100%.
If you have a loved one or friend over there, I am 100% thankful that they chose to defend the freedom of our beautiful country. They are true HEROES!
Uh, it is not another countries Civil war. We took the country over, now we must stay until the people there can take controll 100%. Simple.
LOL, Iraqi leadership wants us gone! That is funny! The fact is they have begged us to stay.
God forbid we should listen to the experts of war...The military leaders will tell us when it is time to leave.

It isn't all about the money....we are in debt because of the war....the same war that congress (Including Obama, Biden and McCain) voted to go into. We are not struggling economically because of the war.....that is because of the stupid mortgage companies giving dumbass loans to people who can't afford to pay them.
Sticks...
LOL! Are you yelling at me? that is a lot of rambling....too bad it doesn't make any sense....
Dude
Maybe the reason why there hasn't been terrorism here since 9/11 is because we are over there....common sense.
splat.
I have chosen my profession, it happened to be here in the homeland. It is not in the military. Thanks for the offer.

cause they dont understand. Most people dont know there are rules to war. (believe it or not) once you enter a country you can not leave it till it can stand strongly on its own and not be take or over ran. Most soldiers dont support why we are there but all will say the same thing. We cant leave till the job is done. The troops need our love and support so they continue winning over there. We are doing it, we are beating the terrorists and making the country better and safer but the country's police and military are not strong enough. PLUS they can be bought very easily, its not like the USA were we will defend our home, or freedoms, and rights. If you walk up to the cop there and pay him money to turn his back or to change sides it happens.

What job is it that you want done in Iraq?
War on terror? Well, we shouldn't be consumed with Iraq for that.
Keeping them a 'democratic' nation? That's not in our power to do, believe it or not.
Keeping them from an internal war? We don't need the number of troops we have there to do that. And wouldn't teaching them how to do this for themselves be better than anything?
Keeping the oil source available to us? But that's not a war, and we don't need the number of troops for that, either. Keeping the peace with the country would be the better thing to do, don't you think?
To keep them from getting weapons of mass destruction? Well, all the money they're getting from this war is making it easier for them. And if we haven't found any yet....
Please, tell me what YOU think the "job" is that we're doing over there...

I rather pull the troops out, sign a peace document and save the country. Why are people so dumb NOT TO BELIEVE that all our money is going to war? why not end this now and try to save our economy? It's a common sense. By the way? What job will be done? They will never find Osama Bin Laden. What are they fighting for any ways?

Guess you just can't be smart all the time. These same people who want to withdraw with a time line RIGHTFULLY knew we had no business going there in the first place. How long are you willing to pay and lose life to a lied to be in war while Osama Bin La din watches and his minions are free to place the next devastating attack. Almost 7 years to the day of 911 our economy starts a major collapse but we are in Iraq playing tiddly winks and chicken with the wrong culprit while it drains our economy further.

Iraq is a sovereign nation that has a legitimate government elected by the Iraqi people. They have requested a time table for withdraw of American forces. If McCain wishes to ignore the Iraq governments request then he can no longer claim us to be liberators because we will have become occupiers not just in others perception but by our own actions.

Bro if you can give me the job to be done you let me know, all in all having thier land is gonna do what for us. the country has been free and clear since 9/11 but i have read into it and apparently thats not even why we are there. if it's not for bringing the evil doers to justice and it's not for oil then why are we there. give good reason i and will give just cause as why to stay till then, stop a war between Bush his administration and those he and all those involved can profit from! really read into the war before you go into countries who never offended us.

Have you ever asked your self a few basic questions:
1. What exactly was the job that needed to be done, as there were no weapons of mass destruction?
2. Have we gained anything, are we actually safer today?
3. What price are you willing to pay for a war that was never needed (just wanted by the bush people) and the lies they needed to defend that decision?
and remember no one ever wins a WAR..no one, wars end, scars are left, family's are destroyed, but they are never won.

Have you been to Iraq? Because I have, three times, and what we are doing over there is a waste of time... and if you are referring to Obama wanting to pull the troops out, then you are wrong... he wants to pull some troops out and redirect their missions to Afghanistan to dissect the root of the problem. 4,000 troops have died unnecessarily over there... and troops are continuing to die everyday. I can say from PERSONAL experience that we are WAY over maned in Iraq... we had so many troops in Iraq all three times I was there that the commander had to come up with busy work, such as building new storage building that are temperature controlled, painting guard shacks.... is that what you want your tax dollars going towards or would you rather your tax dollars going towards finding the leaders of Al Qaeda? You do realize that the entirety of a US Soldier's paycheck comes from the very same taxes that are taken out of yours and every other American's pay check?
Think and research before you speak.
A little piece of advice: my father always told me growing up, if you don't know what you're talking about, then keep your mouth shut, and sit back and listen.

Why don't you go over there and show the rest of us just how it is done?
The "Job" was supposed to be over years ago, and all you are doing now is occupying a foreign country.
If you are not up on what your politicians are telling you your "Job" now includes invading Pakistan and Iran.
After that I guess it wil be India, Korea and China again.
Let's all cheer for the glorious never ending war against "_______"!
