Smoke a few more - duh! And then hide a couple of cigarettes for later. I mean, how often do you have this opportunity? If you smoke enough that your mom notices that some cigarettes are missing, tell her that you smoked and found that you really like it, and have decided to start smoking.

Sixteen is plenty old to start smoking. A lot of kids start much younger. It takes many years of smoking for it to kill you, like 2 packs a day for 30 years or a pack a day for 40.

Congratulations on starting, and welcome to the club!

Are you a boy or girl? How much does your mom smoke? What brand?

hi there, its your choice if you smoke or not, i mean sure you might like it and have fun with your mates but have you looked at the bad side:

    • Smoking gives you bad breath

    • Causes wrinkles earlier in life

    • Makes your hair and clothes smell

    • Can affect your sports performance -

    • You won't be able to run as fast or as far.

    • Stains your teeth makes your skin dry

    • It will crease your lips from pursing them around the cigarette.

    • It will make your skin tougher and not as soft.

    • It will mix up the fluids in your brain.

    In the long term:

    • Smoking can cause Coronary Heart Disease

    • Emphysema

    • Lung Cancer

    • Throat Cancer

    • Mouth Cancer

    • Bladder Cancer Infertility in men and women

    • Stomach Ulcers

thats all i can say please read carefully, and see what you think hope it helps, by the way when i heared about the dangers i stopped. if you cant stop ask your doctor before its to late. regards

Are you wrong? Yes. I know pots illegal but in all honestly its just pot. Your lucky shes not over dosing on alcohol at some house party - passing out in ditches, getting taken advantage off, or needing to get her stomach pumped. And your lucky shes not experimenting with real drugs that actually **** you up for life like cocaine (easy to find) and heroin. Marijuana has no physically addictive qualities and if you did some research you would find that there its a lot of conflicting scientific evidence that says it does nothing as serious as kill brain cells. Drinking alcohol on weekends alone has been scientifically shown to kill brain cells and shrink the hippocampus of the brain (responsible for memory loss) by 20%. I'd rather have my daughter experiment while I was there to support her if she ever falled. She's a teen - shes going to make mistakes. I would never leave her to pick herself back up.

Don't smoke! I can't quit, and I'm thirty-seven. It's very hard to quit. I quit cocaine and alcohol, but I can't seem to quit cigarettes. It is an awful habit, and it will kill you in the end. It makes you smell awful, and it's absolutely the nastiest thing you can do. It's also a very expensive habit! I mean, I'm spending $100 a month on cigarettes here! That could about pay a light bill! Take it from a smoker who wants to quit. It's horrible!

Stop. it's not worth it. quitting was the hardest thing i've ever had to do in my life. but you are 16 and probably not going to listen, cause i know i didn't. also, you don't look cool. i read a quote aimed at teen smokers someplace once- "Picture a 9-year-old with a cigarette hanging out of their mouth. Now realize that is how you look to anyone over 20". it's true. you look ridiculous.

Yeah, it is nice, isn't it. Question is, is it worth the risk? I don't think that's something that someone else can decide for you.
