I'm pregnant ...... What kind of delivery did you have? Woman and Men can answer?
Okay I'm 3months pregnant and scared out of my mind. This is my first child. Everyone is saying its twice because I'm too big for just three months. What scares me is having the baby and the needles.

My first was a natural-and I had an epideral! My daughter was 9 weeks early, so my husband and I were scared out of our minds. When the time came for her to be born...I was laughing!! The epideral was awesome...didn't feel a thing! And my baby's heartbeat was dropping at one time, so they had me sign and emergency c-section thing to say it was ok if they needed to do that...thankfully they didn't. The needle didn't hurt too much the second time I got it. It was totally worth getting it though-made me feel a lot better! Hope this helps! :D

I was very scared of labor and such while pregnant with my son. Once the time comes though, the fears will go away because the pain of the contractions will take over you fear and you'll just want your baby.
I was induced 2 days early because of Gestational Diabetes, Pregnancy Induced Hypertension, and morning sickness that lasted from 10weeks till the day he was born. It wasnt' too bad but the pitocin that they give to increase contractions isn't fun and more painful(from what i've herd from women that have had pit and non). Once the water breaks the contractions will pick up. I got my Epidural just after the doc broke my water.
This time I will also be induced most likely even earlier.

EVERYONE GETS AFRAID ABOUT DELIVERY ESPECIALLY IF ITS YOUR FIRST PREGNANCY.DONT LISTEN TO OTHER PEOPLES DELIVERY STORIES BECAUSE NO DELIVERY IS THE SAME..PEOPLE ARE GONNA SCARE YOU BUT JUST BECAUSE MAYBE ONE OF YOUR FRIENDS HAD A LONG AND PAINFUL DELIVERY DOSNT MEAN URS IS GONNA B THE SAME..
THE NEEDLES ARENT THAT BAD..U JUST HAVE TO THINK OF IT AS..ITS SOMETHING U HAVE TO DO AND IN THE END IT WILL ALL BE WORTH IT..REMEMBER THE NEEDLES IS WATS GONNA HELP YOU AND THE MEDS THEY GIVE THROUGH THE NEEDLES IS WHATS GONNA EASE THE PAIN OF THE DELIVERY..IF HAVING A BABY WAS SO HORRIBLE PEOPLE WOULDNT HAVE MORE THAN ONE KIDS

You are going to have lots of shots over the next 6 months, and especially during the delivery. It is totally worth it! As far as being big, don't fight the battle of the bulge, your doctor will let you know if you size isn't right, and if it will effect what kind of delivery you should have, good luck and congratulations

Its perfectly normal to be afraid. I was terrified with my first pregnancy, but when I went into labor, I did fine. Yes it hurts, but women are strong. If you want an epidural, they work wonders. Its not that bad to get one and they give it pretty fast. I had my first with an epidural, and the next two with no pain meds. I did fine. I concentrated on my breathing and relaxing, but I knew there was help if I needed it. You will be surprised at how great you do! Try not to worry, it will all be ok.

when you are ready to deliver you are going to ask for the needles for meds. dont worry you get poked so much during your pregnancy you wont care come time of delivery. i have three and delivery is always scarry but when it comes you are in pain you dont have time to be scared and after that baby comes out and you see him or her for the first time all that goes away. relax and enjoy your pregnancy. with your first you tend to be bigger. i was huge. my doctor thought it was twins at first but only one at a time for me.

mine sucked!! i was in hospital most of the 9 months-i was on zofran -n got down to 80 pounds. i never went to breathin class-i told my doc i was gettin a c-section. she told me not be be scared-i wasnt but i knew there was gonna be probs..she was breech all 9 months-turned-then went back to breech in 1 hour while i was gettin ultrasound at 6 months.
so i got induced for 2 weeks-nothin----still at 1 cm. i let them break my water-nothin---they gave more pitocin(sp?) 20 hours later---nothin---all of a sudden her heart went bad-mine went bad n off to emergency c-section-had 2 epidurals n 3 spinals-left side never went numb (couldnt knock me out cause of heart rate) so i had to feel the left side get cut n stitches. but 15 min later there she was! perfect! cord was around her neck. but it was worth everything!
ull be fine-congrats!
