In College Football, what team would you say is the best outside of the top 25?

Personally, I say it's Illinois. I think they're a little underrated, given their only losses have come to 2 top-6 teams, away from home. Juice is looking SO much better this year, and has vastly improved as a passer. What do you think?

I'm with you. Ron Zook is getting it done at Illinois. Juice is developing into quite a quarterback. Relatively close losses at Missouri and Penn State are nothing to be ashamed of.

However, I will say the one thing that's holding the Illini back from the big time is that they need to tighten up their defense. It's strange to say that, since Zook has always been a defense-minded coach, but giving up 371 yards and almost 30 points a game is going to make it hard on any team to win its conference. If that defense settles in, though, then Illinois will be a legitimate national championship contender.

lol come on, 2001 hurricanes are considered in the perfect 10 college soccer communities of all time Najeh Davenport Ken Dorsey Antrel Rolle Andre Johnson Willis McGahee Sean Taylor Clinton Portis Frank Gore Jonathan Vilma Kellen Winslow Jeremy Shockey etc have self belief it or not the superb college soccer group of all time is the 1971 cornhuskers The group averaged greater advantageous than 39 factors a game on offense, and surrendered purely 8.2 factors a game. Led by using kick and punt returner par excellence Johnny Rodgers (who gained the 1972 Heisman), the perfect-ranked Cornhuskers defeated No. 2 Oklahoma 35-31 on Thanksgiving Day, in what some have noted as the "game of the Century." They rounded out their 13-0 season with a 38-6 drubbing of Alabama in the Orange Bowl.

The Kentucky Wildcats. True they lost to Alabama yesterday but they hung tough the entire game and gave the Tide a scare. The Wildcats will break into the Top 25 this season.

I have to say the Georgia Tech; because, they have beaten some good teams this year. Their schedule for this year; they are playing against some beatable teams. Therefore, they have a chance I think they can be in the top 25 teams.

I agree with you. They clobbered Michigan. They came close to Missouri at the end of that game. I wouldn't be surprised to see them get back in the Top 25 again.
