How do I get artwork/ edit song information without iTunes?
I would like to know how I can edit the song information and get album artwork without using iTunes. I don't want to put the music into my iTunes library, I just want the artwork attached to the song and the information correct on the songs.
When I try to use iTunes to add the album artwork and then remove the song from my library the artwork doesn't show up in Windows Media Player or anywhere else.
I hope this makes sense to anyone....

right-click the song and click "get info"
to type in information about the file, click the "Info" tab
to add artwork, click the "Artwork" tab
you can usually find good quality pictures on google images if you search the album name and band name...lots of times the band will have cover art on their website or myspace page

Go to Start > My Music and find your songs (they might still be under the iTunes folder). Then right click on them and choose Edit Info.
The principle is the same as it would be if you edited it in iTunes, it doesn't matter.
