  • Performance issues with Windows Media Center, could someone help?

I recently upgraded my computer and also my TV tuner card to work with Windows Media Center Vista edition and I would like to get the best performance I possibly can out of it.

The problem is that whenever I open media center it's always slow to load, choppy video and sound and whenever I watch Live TV the video can only just keep up with the audio..........what can i do to improve this? I'm using a Nvidia GeForce FX5200 video card with 128MB of VRAM, also with 1GB of system RAM.

Should I upgrade my video card and RAM or what? thanks for any help

  • Help with Gigabyte Motherboard!! Can't get audio to work?

I was recently given a Gigabyte motherboard (GA-G31M-ES2L) and have successfully installed it into my computer. The only problem is I can't get the audio driver to work!!! Because I don't have the original CD I had to download the driver from the Gigabyte website. Upon doing this i tried to install the Realtek High Definition Audio program/driver but when the installation finishes and i have restarted there is still no sound and no sound mixers/devices are present.

I am running windows XP and whenever I start the computer it tells me "Found New Hardware - Multimedia Audio Controller" I also try to use the found new hardware wizard but it keeps telling me it can't find a suitable driver for the device. Anyone who owns this motherboard or knows stuff about audio drivers plz help me!!! Thanks (I know that was alot to get through)

  • iPod Earphones with remote and mic compatibility?

I lost my old iPod earphones for my iPod a while back and decided to get the new earphones with remote and mic. I know that it says that only the iPod Classic, iPod Touch 2nd Gen and iPod Nano G4 are compatible with them but does anyone know a way around this?

I own an iPod Nano 3rd Gen and was just wondering if anyone knew of a Hack or way to get the remote to work with it? Or does anyone know if Apple are going to release a software update for the Nano G3 to make them compatible? thanks,

  • How do I get artwork/ edit song information without iTunes?

I would like to know how I can edit the song information and get album artwork without using iTunes. I don't want to put the music into my iTunes library, I just want the artwork attached to the song and the information correct on the songs.

When I try to use iTunes to add the album artwork and then remove the song from my library the artwork doesn't show up in Windows Media Player or anywhere else.

I hope this makes sense to anyone....

  • Does anyone have information about bopo or Bill Express?

I've been using the pre-paid visa card "bopo" for almost two months now but the last time I went to recharge my card at my local newsagents I was told I couldn't because Bill Express had gone bankrupt. I tried to call bopo customer service but to avail. Can any confirm this or give me more info about this? It would be a great help.
