Why can HHH never put someone over like Jeff Hardy last night?

Triple H put over Jeff without dropping the belt. Jeff looked better than he ever has in WWE last night. He came 1 second away from winning and made a mistake by not hooking the leg and Triple H stole a win. Jeff isn't ready for the title, but after last night, it looks like he is well on his way to being a world champ in the near future. Jeff pushed Triple H to the limit, and I feel, Triple H won in a believable way that didn't make Jeff look any weaker. Remember, after the pin, Triple H continued to lay on the mat selling his injuries.

Everybody seems to have lost sight of the meaning of "put over". It means to make your opponent look strong, skilled, and capable, not necessarily to lose the match.

To answer your question, Jeff Hardy is too irresponsible to be a World Champion representing the entire WWE. Triple H, like him or not, has never, and will never, do anything to bring trouble upon himself or the WWE.

Jeff got the match (and the big feud with Triple H) because he is popular with the fans, and is capable of putting on exciting wrestling matches, not because he is the "next big thing".

I don't particularly care who wins matches or who carries the title belts. To me, the match itself is much more important, the performances in those matches.

But I have no problem with Triple H being the WWE Champion. Maybe he'll hold onto it for more than 5 minutes this time. Man, for somebody with god-like "backstage powers" he sure loses World Titles quickly and often.

He just needs to give other superstars a chance he's already a 12 time champion and that's more than enough. I was really disappointed when I heard Triple H won yet again.

honestly, i'm really pissed.. considering that its pretty blatant whom the people wanted to win, they still granted HHH the victory for the n-th time.. but i guess, the wwe still doesn't trust jeff to be the "flag-bearer" of the company..
