Looking for (authentic) Chicago Style Hot-Dogs & Pizza?

I'm from right here in SoCal but from what I understand, jp18 hit the nail on the head about Portillo's. My landlord is from Harvey Illinois, just outside of Chicago, and he tells me that Portillo's is the place for a real Chicago Dog (and the Italian Beef Sandwiches are perfection).

Now, the good news...

Portillo's has opened two locations in SoCal! Buena Park and Moreno Valley. With any luck one of those is close enough for you to enjoy.

im a protracted time chicagoian. southside! White sox fan and it rather is what is going on a chicago form warm dogs mustard,onions, take exhilaration in,tomatoes(diced not slices) and a pickle and those peppers that seem as though a banana not banana peppers those are candy those are enormously spiced. if u flow to A & W and ask for a chicago form warm dogs they are able to have it on there. in addition they positioned cucumber yet i dont trust the entire cucumber on a hotdog thats weird and wonderful. yet in spite of. if absolutely everyone places ketchup on a chicago form warm dogs they could desire to be kept away from out of the state of illinois in my view.

I am from Chicago. You can go online and order from portillo's and they can ship you hot dogs and beef for beef sandwiches. It may be a bit pricey, but really tasty! Also, Lou Malnati's ships chicago style pizza too.

i would love to see Genos east style pizza down here in Houston tx as well. Is it still at the old planet hollywood? or has it moved again?
