During the Vietnam War, Jane Fonda visited Hanoi. She returned with an interesting view of things in South Vietnam, and publicly denounced the war and the U.S. soldiers fighting it.

During the Vietnam war Jane Fonda went to the North Vietnam side, which was the enemy and publicly spoke against our nation and the troops that were fighting over there, calling them all baby killers. I'd say that's what that statement has to do with.

It is a reference to Jane Fonda. I dont know the full story, but apparently she made some comments during the Vietnam War that were less than patriotic.

Jane Fonda was an actress and vocal protester of the Vietnam War during the 1960s-70s. So Vietnam vets are not "Fonda" (fond of) her.

    She was also smokin' hot.

Read it as "Vietnam Vets are not fond of Jane"...it's a play on Jane Fonda, who is famous for supposedly betraying US soldiers during the VIetnam War.

Jane Fonda was against the Vietnam war. She was called Hanoi Jane for her support of the North during the war. She is pretty much universally hated by vets of the Vietnam war since she condemned them for using napalm, agent orange, killing civilians, ect.

Jane Fonda sold us out to the North Vietnamese.

Look up Hanoi Jane, or Jane Fonda who claimed the POWs of Vietnam were being fairly treated when in fact they were not.
