What do you think about Google's "Clean Energy 2030" plan?

It's a great plan, and it also removes the one denier reason for not supporting it:

"The financial bottom line: Although the cost of the Clean Energy 2030 proposal is significant (about $4.4 trillion in undiscounted 2008 dollars), savings are even greater ($5.4 trillion), returning a net savings of $1.0 trillion over the 22-year life of the plan."

It allows us to address global warming, reduce our dependency on foreign oil, on non-renewable fossil fuels, results in cleaner air - and saves us money to boot!

This is the same conclusion that studies regarding California's efforts to address global warming have arrived at - it saves money in the long run.

Plus Google puts its money where its mouth is.  They've invested in alternative fuel vehicles, solar technology, geothermal technology, etc. etc.  It's an awesome company and this is an excellent plan.

Just more politically correct pap.

Notice they have no solutions, just rhetoric.

And involving Al Gore in this exposes it as more of a scam.  He's the one who lied 96 times in a movie to get people to buy his carbon credits and make him a multimillionaire.  What a crook.

I should've sold my Google stock last year.
