Dice up tomatoes, you can add some purple onion, black olives too if you like, mix with some olive oil and a bit of vinegar or some bottled Italian dressing---now slice up some cucmbers, arrange the slices on a plate and top with the tomato mix.
Or slice up some tomatoes and put some fresh mozzarella over them. If you want you can even put these under the broiler for just a smidgen with some seasonsed bread crumbs on top.
Of course the kids will love veggies and dip--flavored cream cheese is good.
Slice up some apples and serve with carmel sauce for dipping.

some tips i could give you is fruit salads, cut fruits in dices all sorts of
fruits that might come in your mind will be fine, i don't know how many guests you are having but,.once they are all diced size just put it in a big bowl for salads according to the quantity just add sugar powder and full cream milk, stir well once a little bit bubbly add 1or 2 pots of any kind of yoghurts flavoured with fruits then stir once more leave it in the fridge until you are ready to serve.
your second preparation would be salad vegies, the night before you cut cubbage in small pieces color is not important, put them in big gastro casserole, once they are cut finely mix it with vinaigrette a la française, which mean vinegar, olive oil, pepper, and salt mix it very well, then you can put some slices of whether mozzarella or cheese of gouda of course the vinaigrette you must pour on the cubbage and the rest of the ingredients, mix it well leave in the fridge for the next day let the cubbage get cooked by the mixture then next day is ready for serving. bon appetit
