I have one which I used last time and intend to use again (any day now!)
I found/find it to be great for late pregnancy backache and it's a good distraction in early labour, but when your labour starts getting really painful, you might as well take it off.
Some women like it, some don't. I still recommend it, but don't expect miracles!

I never found it helpful, but then I didn't really have any "niggly" early stage labour pains, my contractions started pretty fiercely and were painful from the start, so I can't say the TENS did anything for me, sadly.

Didn't love it myself. Felt as though it were intensifying the contractions rather than aleviating them. And I had no idea how high to have it as it was my first baby and didn't want to be only 2cms dilated and be on the last setting already!! Turns out I was 8cms and still on the first setting, so maybe that's why it didn't do much for me!! Won't be using one this time.

I tried it and it really helped me.The only down side was that the pads came off/unsticky towards the end of labor.

i used one, i wouldnt say it helped ease the pain except in the early stages, but it did give me something to take my mind off things and felt nice lol
