bad part of losing weight fast?

Is it true; the faster you lose weight, the faster you put it back on?

I'm on a very low calorie diet, and when i have lost the weight i want to lose, do i have to continue eating this way to stay thin?!

The key to stying slim once you have reached your goal weight is to increase your calorie intake by just a little perhaps 200 calories per day. if you continue to lose weight you can increase your daily intake a little more until your weight remains stable. Over a period of time you may find you can gradually increase the amount you eat.

Your metabolism will ahve slowed a it on your lower calorie diet so it is important not to resume a full calorie load straight away. You need to give your body a chance to adjust.

Losing weight fat means that you have a better chance of putting it back on because you won't learn how to change your eating habits. I don't know how you gained the weight, but it's only healthy to lose it slowly. Take it from someone who's had to lose weight.

You didn't put the weight on in a week; it shouldn't take you a week to take it all off.

    VERY TRUE!!

I lost 25lbs last year all because I got sick and wasn't eating much. as soon as I started back to normal I gained all the weight back and then some!!

you can not stay on a low calorie diet it won't be good for your health. A women shouldn't eat below 1200 calories, is what i have heard!

Yes dear you would need to keep the diet up. And you don't necessarily need to eat less...like someone else suggested. Just eat more healthy foods. The less you eat the slower your metabolism goes...which needs to be speedy in order for you to burn fat. Once you start converting to more veggies and fruits after 2 mos your body will be accustomed to them. Try cutting back on rice, pastas and breads. Those are filled with carbs which turn into fat!!! And drink more water!!!!

Do you have any common sense at all? You think that just because you lost the weight, once you start taking in calories, you're just gonna stay skinny? You can't live off of a low-cal diet forever. If you wanna give it a shot, by all means, go ahead.

Very low calorie diet...hmm... You might want to head to the gym to get in shape rather than starving yourself. Stop counting the damn calories and eat healthy food that doesn't contain bad fats. Reason why most people have unwanted pounds is because they don't do any exercise.
