    "Wet behind the ears" and "green behind the ears" are both idioms that mean essentially the same thing.

    technically nailing jello to the wall makes more sense to me, as it would mean something that is futile

    green behind the ears sounds like he was combining phrases 'green' and 'wet behind the ears' meaning inexperienced

    Well "Green" means new and I'm guessing behind the ears means brain
