Difference in between the words...?
What is the difference between "center" and "centre?" I see centre in literature books. Does it mean exactly the same as center or are there some subtle differences?

same. no difference at all.
centre - British English
center - American English

Canadians, British, some African nations, Australians, and various other countries spell it like that.
Centre is only incorrect if it is directed towards an American audience.

they both mean the same.. centre is chiefly british..
