Has anyone heard of "Fe-breeze" plug-ins causing fires?

I use them them all the time, and in the last two days , have heard several stories

What kinda stories? If they are in any way a "fire hazard" they wouldn't be UL approved, and if they're not UL approved don't use them. Like if they're made in China, but they're still supposed to be approved if they're intended for sale here.

Yes they have caused several fires over the past few years. There is some discussion about whether there should be a recall on them. Since they totally burn during a fire, proof has been hard to come by. Check the federal consumer protection web site.
