How could anyone of color support Mc Cain when he voted against the MARTIN LUTHER KING HOLIDAY in A,Z?

he does not stand for all people, and he lost my vote just on GP.

    Arizona is 99% white, at the time it didn't seem to affect them

    But folks above this, McCain IS a resident of Arizona. Which would mean he DID vote on the referendum (as apart of a general election. Just because he is a Senator doesn't mean the right to vote was taken away from him). And all evidence says he voted against it.

    He did not vote against the MLK jr holiday. It was voted down by the people of the state. It was a local election. Congress had no vote.

    It was for the state to vote not the representatives.

    MLK wasn't only fighting for blacks. He was working for civil rights for where ever and whom ever was being denied them. That takes it beyond color, religion, and nationality. If you are voting by color and not for the best candidate based on knowledge and experience, please save the country the trouble your choice may lead us into and do NOT vote.
