Should we keep fighting and bickering or unite?
Too much division, too much of the blame game, we just need to stop blaming and START ACTING.
We went to the moon, we defeated Nazi Germany, we defeated the Soviet Union, why can't we come together, defeat this economic crisis, defeat the terrorists, and stop playing the blame game?
Both sides are part of this, no " The Republicans started it" or " The Democrats always do this stuff"

I think we should stop letting politicians hide behind the curtain of their party and hold them 100% personally accountable for their votes, bills and actions! The blame game is old and is not serving any of us. First though we need to start respecting each other and talking like civilized people.
Ohh I do vote, I just don't say well the republican or democratic party picked this person so he is who represents me, I look at the two individuals and judge them on their merrits. I am not afraid to swing vote!

That's what Republican and Democratic politicians say when they are trying to get elected, and while I wish they would speak more substantively, we don't have to fall into their trap, nor are Presidential campaigns the best example of political discussion.
I think we should keep arguing, but in a more productive way. Searching for common ground and finding solutions that are acceptable all around are good ideas, but I don't think it's good to just step back and let others' bad ideas prevail in the name of unity. Too often, Democrats have done this, and not only is it bad for the country, it ends up making them look weak and pathetic.
The good news about the War on Terror is that John McCain knows where bin Laden is and how to get him. He said as much in the most recent debate. We just have to trust that not only is this true, but that he has a good reason for not having shared his wealth of knowledge with us any time in the past seven years. If Obama wins, will he let him in on the secret, or will he carry it to his grave?
The fact is that Republicans have been the chief economic deregulators, and that Democrats have been way too complacent. You can decide which is worse.

Obviously the answer is we need to unite, unfortunately it is very difficult to get everybody to come together with the entitlement mindset of our society.
There are many weak minds that have been taught that they are weak and they cannot succeed, they believe they must rely on the government, when the government is who we need to unite against.
I officially withdrew my support for McCain after I saw he too is for the expansion of government. Our government is making itself more powerful by the day and is speaking of owning about 75% of the country as well as banks, insurance companies, financial institutions, health care, education, etc. In the speeches from both parties I keep hearing them refer to us as the "workers" there is another country that loves to speak of its "workers" and that is China, a communist country that we owe over $500 billion to.
In order to unite we will all have to come to the understanding that what divides us is not our race or religion, in fact it is these things that the politicians play off to divide us, if anything it is the mega wealthy vs. the poor and middle class. Look at each of the candidates from the primaries to today, is there a single one that is not a multi millionaire, or went to an elite university, or is not part of the inner circle of politics?
Right now it is a question, but as things get worse uniting will not be an option.

"After Nov. 4, we'll unite..."
Unlikely. If the republicans win the white house, the democrats will claim that McCain isn't "Their president". If the democrats win the white house, the republican will claim the same thing.
The truely sad part is that if the Republicans win, the Democrats will instantly being with the Race issue, telling everyone how racist they are - because after all - race can be the only reason why someone wouldn't vote for Obama.

The day is going to come where we HAVE to make that decision. Bush has called the 3rd infantry division's 1st brigade to Washinton. It was first reported about 2 weeks ago in the Army Times. They have a online edition, but I don't have the ability to navigate on it because of my software.
It makes me wonder why Bush needs the infantry near Washington. I mean, infantry? They are ground troops trained in grenades, tanks, one-on-one combat--and with elections so near, and the knowledge that this years election is being observed by teams of the international human rights organizations from Europe am I wondering if Bush is planning to call for martial law if he doesn't get his way(meaning that I think something serious is going to happen if the republicans lose the election...)!! It might be far fetched, but I am wondering....why would Bush need the infantry on standby for him.........??????

because, what needs done during an economic crisis, is job creation. Kind of hard to create good paying jobs employing Americans and creating consumer confidence, when it is cheaper to pay a China man or a Mexican than it is to pay an American even minimum wage.
Then on top of that, right-wingers will cry subsidy of our own products, made inAmerica is socialism, because the corporations will be selling less of their high profit Chinese made garbage.
So we are stuck with 2 decisions:
1) become a 3rd world hole, or
2) renegotiate trade agreements rather than expand them to get rid of new jobs, while telling right-wingers to quit crying about UNIONS.
when a laborer make more, they buy more, when they buy more, it creates jobs and product turn over. When the product is sold it creates profit.
Problem is, right-wingers want to make everything a fly-by-night get rich quick scheme that sooner or later ends up biting Americans in our behinds.
Source(s): <<That is their shared hatred of 9/11 conspiracy theorists. >> No, only fascists that don't want to see the government questioned hate conspiracy theorists. The educated among us realize they perform a very important public service of telling our government, we are watching them. <<The Republicans were NOT the cause of this mess, the Dems were.>> ignorant people are the ones who think democrats were responsible for this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GLBA - 1 decade ago
You have a great idea. For all to Unite... Unfortunately most do not believe in it. And we are a very Diverse country with many different opinions...and that's what makes us who we are. For the better good we should come together. talk to your community and spread the word of unity..and become a peace activist.

It'll be over on November 5.
The question is, will the Neocons respect the office of the President when Obama is the occupant?

Let the fighting go on - we haven't even seen the BIG REPUBLICAN LIES yet. 'Swiftboat Liars for Truth' has hundreds of millions in BIG OIL money to write lots of lies - and we haven't seen much of that yet.
But just wait!
Vote Obama - Let's put these Neo-Cons out of business!

I assure you if Obama wins us republicans will unite. If McCain the crazy left will continue to divide. This is a page out of the typical black playbook.
Face it Libs, were your big brother and you'll always be the crying little ***** sister that we have to take care of.
