Are politicians allowed to campaign on Thanksgiving Monday?

    He's clearly talking about Canadian Thanksgiving which is this monday. Yes they can campaign on monday.

    Thanksgiving is generally on a Thursday, about three weeks after the General Elections. But if any congressmen or Senators are trying to get an early start on the 2010 elections (and some of them will), then yes. They are free to campaign on the Monday before and after Thanksgiving.

    The elections are the FIRST Tuesday in November. Thanksgiving is the LAST THURSDAY in November. You do the math.
