Definition of "winning in Iraq"?

McCain/Palin keep talking about not pulling trips out of Iraq until the US wins the war. Anyone know what their or Bush-admin definition of "winning the war" is?

Clearly it's not about one or more warlords coming to the table to negotiate and sign terms & conditions of surrender, like in traditional wars.

the secret is that it's not really a war, just a dangerous occupation

we're not going to win or lose by any clear definition

Winning in Iraq is when American oil companies have complete and total control over their oil.

That is why we went, that is when we will win.

This is and never was a 'war'. It is an invasion/occupation

Think he wants to see a gradual drawdown - as the iraqi troops step up - and then a pull out -after all the oil contracts and resources of the country have been secured of course (which are now the new peace plans it seems)..

    Completing all objectives.

Which has been a success thus far.
