Can somone help me please....?

Im trying to find records on Reather Young-Archie childhood and her parents.Her maiden name was Young.She was b.27 May 1889 and d.1988.Someone gave me records saying they found a Reather Young in born and lived in North Carolina.I thought she was born in South Carolina but no one knows.She was also african american.

    Go on to rootsweb or ancestry and see what you can find. A name like Reather Young or Reather Archie does not sound all that common so you're in luck in those regards. If you can find your ancestor in any of the censuses, it'll give you information as to what state she was born in.
