Chance for conception; irregular cycles?
I have had three cycles since coming off the pill at the end of May. They last on average about 35 days (two at 39, one at 28), though before starting the pill ten years ago, the average was about 32 days. My husband and I just started ttc in September. My last cycle was Sept. 10th. We did the BD on Sept. 28, 29, and 30, and again on Oct. 5. Today is day 32, and still no AF. As far as symptoms, I have started having occasional queeziness, but the bloating and gas has been constant for at least the last week and a half or so. There was a stretch of mild headaches over the last week, but they have toned down. Around Sept. 29th or 30th I had cramping, menstrual like pain begin which lasted until about mid-last week, and then started up again on this past Saturday. I don't "feel" pregnant, but what's surprising me right now is that my breasts/nipples are not sensitive at all, which is odd for me. I haven't been too fatigued, though I did have to nap yesterday afternoon, which is something I hardly ever do. As for urination, yesterday I probably had to go every two hours or so, but I don't know how that compares to what people say about having to go "a lot".
What do people think about this? Could my husband and I have conceived? I don't want to get my hopes up, especially since we've just started trying. But my body is confusing me right now. Thoughts?
Oh, and for what it's worth, I've also started getting hungry within an hour or two after eating.

I've had irregular periods forever as well..
It's crazy...here you are, trying your hardest to get pregnant..and then you hear about 13 year olds getting pregnant, and wondering whether they should or should not have the baby, and how they're so scared because their parents are going to find out and the kicker is...they weren't even trying to get pregnant in the first place!
It's almost a joke, really.
Just as a little story, My husband and I tried to conceive for a while year. Last year around Thanksgiving time, it finally happened. I think it wasn't happening for a whole year because I was stressing so much over it. I kept thinking about the baby. I kept counting days, researching my ovulation charts, reading about all kinds of crazy methods to conceive a child. I had baby on the brain. Finally in November last year, I gave up. I had a move to think about. I had to pack things, clothes, furniture...had to get an apartment, start paying new bills with my husband, make a road trip to our new state..things were hectic and I forgot about baby-making, and somewhere around that time, it happened. I think when you are anticipating a child, your body isn't going to respond only because of how the stress hormones are high even though you don't know it. And this can even put your cycle off. It sucks, really. I have some really helpful sites for you though..you should check them out:
