25% chance of becoming pregnant?

i have read you have a 25% chance of getting pregnant each month... does this mean.... 25% chance when you are trying on ovulation days... or 25% in general?

    For the typical woman, 75% of her eggs are "bad". Even if sperm is available to fertilize it, it still will not produce a baby.

    So not only do you have to be doing the baby dance at the right time of the month, you have to be lucky enough to be fertilizing a "good" egg this month.

    25% if sex is timed right (during ovulation) and the sperm is getting there, and the egg drops.

    So, basically, even if everything goes exactly right, you still have just a 25% chance.

    Depressing huh? but that's why it usually takes about 5-6 months to get pregnant.

    Yes, because your cycle is 28 days long, months are almost 28 days/ 25% of 28 = 1 week.

    Thats correct! 25 % chance every month. Think about it! By the 4th month that is a 100% chance! HAVE FUN! And congratulations.
