A question for my Muslimah friends?

Do you wear the hajib strictly out in public or do you wear it at home too?

The character I'm writing about is Jordanian if that helps. She and her friends are coming over for dinner so I am unsure whether she'll wear it or not.

There are two type of people, Mehram and non Mehram, Mehram are the ones one cannot marry, like Brother, Father, Mother, Sister, Uncle, GrandFather, and use your logic.. Non Mehram are the ones you can marry like any other male or female. (i mean male for women and female for men). So a women don't have to do Hijab front of Mehrams and other women but is required to do so infront of Na Mehrams.

Hijab... you don't have to wear it at home as long as there are no males (except for the ones that are allowed to see you without hijab)

But you can wear it even at home if you feel like. Plus you have to cover yourself for praying anyway :)

I don't think they wear it in their own home, but maybe at yours. ASk this in the Ramadan section. You will get better answers.
